What is Parametric & Non-Parametric Design?
For those new to CAD modelling - the term "parametric design" may be new - and many people are unsure about what it really means. A quick search will often return a lot of results - but most of this is unfortunately just a collection of opinions about the relative merits of paramentric, or non-parametric design - usually with a strong bias towards whatever system is being pushed by the presenter. Fusion 360 is special too - because we can do both - but this video attempts mostly to give the viewer a very basic understanding of what these terms mean, and what advantages each method can provide.
