Why We Create Here
Area creative professionals talk about why they call Iowa's Creative Corridor their home. Located in east central Iowa, Iowa's Creative Corridor is the seven-county area of Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn and Washington counties encompassing about 4,400 square miles and is home to about 500,000 residents. It is home to more than two dozen municipalities, multiple higher education facilities, the world-famous Iowa Writer's Workshop, dozens of arts organizations, 30 Fortune 500 companies and more than a dozen international organizations.
