Spring Boot GraphQL Kickstart has officially been archived, in favour of the official Spring for GraphQL library.
This means that the kickstarter library is no longer actively developed, or maintained. As dependencies are no longer being bumped, existing applications may be vulnerable to security exploits or unfixed bugs. I advise everyone to migrate to the official library as soon as possible.
Overall, I believe this is a positive development in the holistic java graphql space. Fostering adoption and collaboration of a well maintained and officially supported spring library. Providing clarity on the future of graphql. We must be progressive, focus on the positives in this development and move forwards.
