Aambal Vasantham - The blossoming of water lilies!! Every August September, the paddy field of transforms into a sea of pink-colored water lilies. Visit early morning (6 am to 8 am ) to avoid the crowd, and to enjoy the full bloomed flowers. When the sun gets strong later in the morning, the water lilies close up. Boats are available for hire, and costs around 100 rupees per person for 1 hour. This was taken in first week of August 2024.
