Learning Spanish with a tutor: Double-check the time

If you are learning Spanish, you probably take lessons on Italki or Preply. I have been on italki for years as a student and as a tutor and in this video series I give you tips to get the most out of Italki.
Some students miss lessons because they book the wrong time or they simply forget about the lesson. For example, they might book a lesson at 5am thinking it is 5pm. Or they book at 17:00 thinking it is 7pm. Other students are traveling and they forget to change their time zone in Italki. Italki does not change your time zone automatically when you travel. You need to do this manually.
And please check your work schedule and your medical appointment calendar before booking a lesson. I have had students buy a lesson package, book all the lessons in the package and then request schedule changes for all the lessons. When you buy a package on Italki you don't need to book all the lessons. You can just buy the package and book the lessons when you know you will have time.
