Turnigy 9XR - How to make a safe battery adapter
This video shows how to make a protective battery extension cable that will prolong the life of the radio battery contact.
The battery connector of the 9XR is very exposed. There is a real possibility that either the contact in the radio or the battery cable is damaged through repeated battery insertions and removals.
The extension cable also makes it possible to use 2s LiPo batteries in the radio, since that is my preference. You might just as well chose to make a 3s to 3s protective extension.
