CA ACTUALLY LISTENED! - Official Napoleon Total War CPU Fix Released
Today on the 25th of April 2023, CA released an update/patch for a 13 YEAR OLD GAME! After a year and a half of players buying Total War: Napoleon only to find out their 12th Gen Intel CPU doesn't run it, and the subsequent Petition that started, the video I made a few months ago to drive some awareness around the issue CA finally listened and released an official update today to fix the game!
Now full disclosure while this is a really massive update that just goes to show the company is listening, that feedback is heard from players of the Historical games etc, there are some downsides to this update. Including the Multiplayer Chat functionality has been removed from both Napoleon AND Empire, PLUS certain mods are now potentially outdated as well such as Darthmod or LME.
But overall this is a massive win for people, and in today's video I go through what this update as done, my thoughts on it all and the potential implications and more!
