How-To: Perform a Ladder Lift
We show you how to perform a “ladder lift” on your vehicle using a jack stand and our bottle jack extensions, helpful when the sidewall height on your tire is greater than 6 inches. Performing a ladder lift actually has nothing to do with a ladder! The name comes from the way you alternate between the bottle jack and the jack stand, lifting the vehicle a little higher each time (like climbing the rungs of a ladder)!
