How to create and arrange Bloom Unit Aimable Luminaires
After recently winning 2 separate major lighting industry awards, we have received a number of requests from some of our users asking us how to create and assemble Bloom Unit compatible luminaires.
So here we have provided detailed instructions on both the creation process and also how to use SketchUp's component dialogue and folder system to organise large numbers of these luminaires for quick access and ready placement into your SketchUp scene.
The Ruby Script text needed to add the insertion and aiming functions is as follows:
Sketchup.active_model.selection[0].definition.set_attribute("Bloomunit_testing","category","luminaire")
Sketchup.active_model.selection[0].definition.set_attribute("Bloomunit_testing","aimable","on")
