Intalling Kart racing Spilt ring sprocket adaptor on a Doodle Bug mini bike
I can't stress enough how much you want this racing kart split ring adapter plate for your Doodle bug mini bike.https://www.ombwarehouse.com/Doodlebu... You can see I almost got the tallest gearing ever, 35 tooth on the rear. You don't want to go that tall less you got a jack shaft to even change the gears more. Best thing, my stock doodle bug sprocket was as big as the tire, and would hit any #3 or larger rock kicked up cornering on that side. This is the 54 tooth split ring sprocket and plenty to small. Warning; if you using the stock 97cc engine, you have to with more teeth on the sprockets, If your using the the Harbor Freight 213cc you can start with 5 teeth lower, 65 tooth. Get these $11 sprockets from OMB to start to. Till you fine the perfect gearing you want. Remember, you can always cut the #35 chain down, but to lengthen it is kind of stupid of you bought the small gear like I did. But I got a jacksaft, and jacksaft gears are only $6 to $15 for the biggest, you have to check on that, I'm close though.
