I picked up reading University Days a few years ago and have been occasionally making my way through it ever since. There was a section in which Octavia gets a call from an intoxicated Vinyl Scratch. Tavi becomes worried and travels out in the night to make sure her newfound friend is okay and brought home safe.
I took inspiration from this to make a song about one’s determination in a strong friendship despite the other’s own self-doubts. I hope you enjoy!
As for the SHVDE alias, it’s mostly for certain scenarios where I feel like using it.
