Hello, today we will learn how to thread a two-needle overlock. Some people think that it is very difficult, I will try to prove you wrong. The main thing is to be attentive and you will succeed. And so let's get started. Open two covers and turn on the machine, the built-in light will help us see better. Raise the knife, press with your left hand and twist with your right hand and the knife is at the top. Take the blue thread and pass it through the thread tensioner. I installed four different threads on the overlock, so that it would be clearer. We hook the thread onto the thread holder first, second, third, fourth and into the hole of the upper looper. We have coped with the first stage, Let's move on to the second, more difficult one. Take the red thread and also pass it through the thread tensioner. There is a drawing inside the overlock, which will be your guide later. We pass the thread through the thread holder first, second, third and here be especially attentive, we pass the thread into the void and intercept it with our left hand, the lower looper with with the help of the flywheel you need to move it to the left, so we can clearly see the slot in the looper, we start the thread there and bring it back out into the void, intercept it with the right hand. The overlock comes with tweezers, you can use them, it is more convenient for me without them. Then, using the flywheel, we move the looper to the right and thread the thread into the hole. We proceed to the third stage, we take the turquoise thread, everything is the same, through the thread tensioner, then simply pass the thread under the bottom, we wet it in the lower holder, then in the common thread holder, guide and in the right needle. And the last stage, we take the orange thread, pass it through the thread tensioner, then simply under the bottom and in the upper holder, then in the common thread holder in the left guide and insert it into the left needle. We raise the foot, the lever is behind the overlock and we pass all four threads under the foot, pulling them. we lower the knife. This mechanism with numbers 1,2,3 is interconnected with the knife, the higher the numbers, the wider the knife cuts the fabric. The next mechanism with numbers 1,2,3,4 helps us set the seam step, the higher the number, the wider the step, when you have decided on the step size, the mechanism needs to be fixed. Close the lid, set the lever to N, that is, the standard mode. This lever is designed to stretch or tighten the fabric when needed. Close the second lid. This lever helps us choose the overlock and steering seam, if the lever is located away from us, the overlock will be normal, but if towards us, the overlock will be steering. This is what an overlock seam with two needles turns out to be, now I will remove one left needle and demonstrate which overlock can be used to overlock the edges of fabrics. As you can see, tucking the overlock turned out to be not so difficult. Thank you for your attention, subscribe to my channel and you will learn many more interesting things, see you soon
