Discover Pinterest: Cloud Engineering
With more than 100 million monthly active Pinners around the world, 50 billion Pins and 150K requests per-second, reliable and secure cloud engineering is key to providing good users experiences across all our platforms (iOS, Android and web). We recently hosted a cloud engineering event to give engineers a deeper look into how we’ve scaled in the cloud and foster a conversation about the role of SREs. Speakers included Pinterest engineers Raj Patel, Baogang Song, Jeremy Carroll and Tian-Ying Chang, along with a keynote from Nori Heikkinen, long-time SRE from Google.
