How to Find: Books by Subject
From the O'Malley Library Homepage, click on the Find Books tab on the Discovery Search
Type in keywords for your research subject
Select Search
Select the checkbox next to Manhattan College under Held by Library to only see books in the O'Malley Library.
If one of the books in the results looks interesting, click on the title.
In a book's entry in the catalog, the subjects it covers are listed
You can click on the one most related to your topic and see the other books we have on that subject.
Click on the title of a book that seems related to your topic.
Check the Access Options box to see if the book is available for checkout.
The call number at the bottom fo the box is the book's address on the shelf. Write it down or take a screenshot.
Listed above the call number is the collection name and floor where the book is located
