How to sync VidPlayMTC to Cockos Reaper MIDI Time Code generator (see Comments for setup)
Configure Reaper as the MTC master...
1. Options-Preferences-MIDI Devices, enable a hardware MIDI device for output
2. Create new track and Insert-SMPTE LTC/MTC Timecode Generator
3. Item-Item Properties-Take media source-Properties, choose Send MIDI (MTC)
4. Track I/O Routing, select the MIDI Hardware Output
5. Reaper should now transmit MTC on the MIDI device when the transport is running. Route the MTC data to the server PC running VidPlayMTC. In this demo the master PC is also the server, using MIDI loop back.
