During 14 years of training, I've learned a key lesson: constantly striving for perfection can become your worst enemy.
In this video, I talk about why you don't need to do everything perfectly to progress and how adopting a flexible mindset can make all the difference in the long run.
When we leave the house, travel, or simply have social plans, it's normal for our routines to change. And you know what? It's absolutely okay if you eat differently one day, if you don't train the same, or if you don't follow the plan 100%.
True progress isn't in perfection, but in sustained consistency over time. What really matters is what you do most of the time, not what happens at specific moments.
In this video, I share my perspective after more than a decade of experience, to help you leave guilt, perfectionism, and unrealistic expectations behind. Because when you understand this, your relationship with training, food, and yourself improves radically.
I hope you like it and find it helpful!

ABOUT ME
My name is Ion Gallastegui and I'm 32 years old. I'm a senior nutritionist, a personal trainer, and an English teacher. I've always been passionate about sports, and I started swimming at a very young age, which has always been my favorite sport. I competed for several years, and at the age of 17 or 18, after 13 years in the water, I decided to change my life in an effort to refresh my life. I joined my local gym, and that was my first contact with the world of fitness and strength training.
Now, after more than 14 years, I'm still in this world and I'm more passionate about it than ever. I've always been interested in the world of nutrition and training, and that was the main reason I decided to study something related to it. This last decision has probably been the best decision I've ever made, as I believe there's nothing better than doing what you love, turning your true passion into your profession.
Never stop trying and go for what you really want in life. Nobody gives anything away, and you create your own luck.
