Welcome to the first video of my first course on learning to program on a computer. The course will be language-agnostic in its core but I will use the Kotlin programming language (within IntelliJ IDEA) for the sake of example, when it becomes necessary.
This course does not assume any prior knowledge, you should just have a computer available and be able to use your operating system of choice.
In this first chapter, I am introducing the contents of the course to you and we will get started right away with chapter 0 to answer some important general question about programming.
