During Halloween 2022, we conducted a live paranormal investigation at the haunted Padre Hotel in Bakersfield, California. As we were investigating and maintaining silence, we heard unusual knocking sounds coming from above the center wall. Initially, we assumed it might be a hotel guest knocking at their door. However, the nature of the knocks was peculiar—they had a playful quality to them. Room 704 is known for being haunted by a prominent child spirit. Additionally, when Damon knocked on a central wall, we received an immediate response in the same distinctive manner. The wall Damon knocked on does not connect to any nearby rooms, making it impossible for anyone to hear and respond. This experience was truly intriguing and worth sharing.
