Want to know how to reduce noise in your photos without using Photoshop?
In this video, I'm going to show you a simple and effective way to get cleaner, sharper images without losing detail or quality.

Noise is a common problem in digital photography, especially when using high ISO values or when taking photos in low-light conditions.
Noise manifests as colored dots or grains that appear in the dark or uniform areas of the image, reducing definition and realism.

There are many programs and applications to reduce noise in photos, but most require payment or a subscription.

Furthermore, some of them can be complicated to use or can generate unwanted effects, such as blurring or loss of texture.

That's why I'm going to teach you a free and easy-to-apply technique that will allow you to reduce noise in your photos without using Photoshop. This involves using a program called Sequator (if you have Windows) or Starry Landscape Stacker (if you have a Mac), which are designed to stack multiple photos and create starry nightscape images.

But these programs can also be used to reduce noise in any type of photo, since stacking several shots of the same frame eliminates random differences between them, such as noise. This results in a smoother, more homogeneous image without losing detail or contrast.

To use this technique, simply follow these steps:

1. Take several photos of the same frame with your camera. Ideally, take between 10 and 20 shots, using a tripod to prevent movement. You can use burst mode or the timer to make the process easier. It doesn't matter if the photos have noise; what's important is that they are identical in terms of exposure, focus, and composition.

2. Download and install the Sequator program (if you have Windows) or Starry Landscape Stacker (if you have a Mac) on your computer.

These are free programs that you can find at these links:

Sequator: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=do...

Starry Landscape Stacker (unfortunately, it's a paid program 🤦🏻‍♂️):

3. Open the program and select the photos you want to stack.

The program will automatically detect the stars and align them. If your photos don't have stars, you can disable this option in the settings.

4. Choose your preferred stacking mode. There are several modes available, but the most recommended for reducing noise is **median**, which calculates the average value of each pixel across all the photos and eliminates extreme values, such as noise.

5. Wait for the program to process the photos and show you the final result.

You'll see that the resulting image has much less noise than the originals, but retains all the details and colors.

6. Save the final image in your preferred format and enjoy your noise-free photo.

This technique is very useful for reducing noise in your photos without using Photoshop, but it also has some limitations.

For example, it only works if the photos are exactly the same, so it's not suitable for scenes with movement or changes in lighting.

Also, it requires taking several photos of the same frame, which can take up space on your memory card or drain your battery.

But if you want to get cleaner, sharper images without having to pay for software or learn how to use it, this technique is a good option. All you need is a camera, a tripod, and a computer with one of these programs.
