Cell death | Apoptosis | Necrosis
As like Growth, death is an integral physiological feature of a living cell.
If it is natural, by self inducing, on completion of life then it is calle as PROGRAMMED CELL DEATH (PCD) or APOPTOSIS.
If it is killing of cell due to environmental or external factors then it is called as Necrosis.
In both the process cell undergoes death. But PCD is beneficial to the organism while in Necrosis the killing is suceeded by inflammation in the surrounding tissue.
