In this video I talk a little about updating the Switch, answering some questions, giving tips and recommendations to help you avoid problems regarding this subject.
Please do not skip the video as there are usually tips and suggestions in the middle and you may miss something that is part of the process and do it wrong.
Important observations: My switch is a V2, unlocked by modchip hwfly, I use an original and fast micro SD card, formatted in FAT32, with a hidden emunand (Created in the SD PARTITION option) and a micro SD card adapter with USB 3.0 port. This is my setup and what I recommend.
