Riku Miura & Ryuichi Kihara win at first Grand Prix Final, Alexa Knierim & Brandon Frazier silver
We knew it’d be a race to pairs gold between the Japanese and American teams and it was a photo finish: Miura & Kihara beat the Knierim & Frazier by just a point. Behind them with the bronze was Sara Conti & Niccolo Macci who took their first Grand Prix Final medal on home ice. Canadians Deanna Stellato-Dudek & Maxime Deschamps finished fourth.
