Welcome back to my channel, everyone! 🌟 In this exciting YouTube short, I'm thrilled to give you a sneak peek into the upcoming full-length video releasing next week. Join me as I take you on the second part of our adventurous third day in Athens, Greece.
After we left the Philopappus Monument, we walked down the street about 300 yards to the Acropolis Museum. This museum is super cool because it's built on top of really old structures, like an entire ancient town!
You can even see through the floor to the thousands of year old ruins below, which is pretty neat.
Inside, the museum hosts a few floors, maybe three or four, filled with well preserved artifacts. I was really impressed by the intricately and beautifully carved statues called caryatids. Equally impressive was a massive carving of what looked like half-man, half-lion creatures eating a huge bull whole.
It's all about ancient Greek history, and it's pretty amazing.
