Although this is an entry for @SleepyGemstone 's 4.5k sub contest, this is more of a personal project inspired by the moodboard. This took a long time (every frame took 1-3 hours if you include the tweening), but I'm very proud of how it came out.
This follows the intertwined stories of Shezi as she takes on the mantle of Interpreter and uncovers secrets about her world, and Charlie as they try to help Shezi and confront their own immortality/mortality.
Characters:
Shezi (flower snow leopard): she/they, Interpreter of the Sunset
Charlie (skull bird): they/them, Angel, Shezi's friend
Finn (butterfly cat): he/him, Angel, Shezi's brother
Armedias (silk/branch snake): he/they, Speaker of the Sunset, Shezi's mentor and friend
Ha'lu (moon creature): he/him, God of the Moon, Guardian of the After Realm, Finn's caregiver
Nikyr (eclipse creature): they/them, God of the Sunset and Sunrise, Guardian of the Ever Realm, Shezi's and Armedias's guide/patron god
Onatryx (sun creature): she/her, God of the Sun, Guardian of the Early Realm
Pale White Horse (skeleton deer): ????
A few notes:
-The Pale White Horse IS meant to symbolize an actual character, though it does not resemble them physically.
-The song fits Charlie better but I decided to focus on Shezi instead
-I know no one cares but I do: I know Charlie's rib cage is inaccurate, buuuut a keeled breastplate would look really weird and not show the also inaccurate heart, and besides it's not like there's any muscles there anyways
