EarthRoamer gets DIY folding eBike garage - Part 2: Finished & Loaded
This is part 2 of the video showing how our folding eBike garage is loaded and unloaded. Ruth and I find these eBikes to be great equalizers. We do many more rides together now, that are tougher and longer than we would have ever done together in the past. We can each choose how hard we want to work and for how long on the ride. We love the ocean & desert and the 4” fat tires work much better in the sand than our conventional 2” tires. The bikes have an incredible range with the regenerative charging function, so they are a great thing to have with you in case you get into trouble and have to go get help. They are also nice to have to scout trails in advance of full commitment with a large rig like ours. We keep ourselves in decent shape, but these bikes give you the flexibility to dial in your exercise level for even those lazy Sunday’s. A lot of “discussions” were had over the design of the garage, but in the end we are pretty happy with the result.
