Had my first IRL session of the year last weekend, tracking a single for the lovely John Seaton with Matt Fury at the helm. Also my first time at Brighton Electric, which didn’t disappoint - great coffee, gear and people!
Audio here is just Matt’s board mix with a little extra bus EQ and comp - we were going for low and crunchy and he absolutely nailed the tones. Also featuring a smorgasbord of traditional and non-traditional overdubs, the favourite being a beer bottle. Looking forward to hearing this one finished!
