For a tiny little baby game for babies, this "Sonic" game actually has a surprising amount of depth, replayability, and FUN.
Tails' Skypatrol is (genuinely) one of my favorite Sonic games and I'm so excited to play it on modern hardware with the upcoming Sonic Origins Plus release! Hopefully they don't change too much and render this entire guide obsolete (I used Gamecube releases in Sonic Gems and Sonic Adventure DX to capture footage for this video.)
This is not a development history or lore video, but if you want some fun trivia; this game was originally going to be a Disney licensed title for an unreleased SEGA Console.
