Meet the Lunar Mission Operations Engineer Driven by Family Support
Growing up in Mexico, Jesus Charles admired the work ethic of his father and grandfather as they took on a variety of skilled trades work from car repairs and masonry to plumbing and carpentry. That drive inspired Jesus to pursue a career in aerospace engineering at the University of Texas. His career at Firefly began as a Mission Manager for the Alpha rocket before eventually moving to The Blue Ghost team as Senior Mission Operations Engineer and Flight Director.
