ELEMENTS
Html is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags enclosed in angle brackets. But some tags are unpaired and they are known as empty elements. The first tag in a pair is known as start tag and second tag is the end tag.
TAGS
Tags are commands written in text document. they are not displayed in the web pages. A tag begins with a less than sign, then the element name followed by greater than sign. A closing tag includes a back slash before the element name
Eg: body……/body
NESTING
Nesting refers to the arrangement of elements in such a way that there is no overlapping of elements. When properly nested, the elements are contained inside one another.
ATTRIBUTES AND VALUES
An attribute defines the characteristics of an element. It is placed inside the opening tag.
here size is the attribute. The attribute should be followed by its value. 12 is the value assigned to the attribute.
