So what’s happening here is that one day when Muzan turns a person into a demon and they become an Uppermoon at the start, that means the Ubyashiki family is the reason why their a demon in the first place.
And every time a Uppermoon is born, the Ubyashiki family heirs will lose 10 years of there lifespan.
So here is the order on who became an Uppermoon first to last and when the male heir life ends with it:
Up.1 - Kokushibou - Live until 90
Up.4 - Nakime - Live until 80
Up.5 - Gyokko - Live until 70
Up.4 - Hantengu - Live until 60
Up.3 - Akaza - Live until 50
Up.2 - Douma - Live until 40
Up.6 - Gyutaro & Daki - Live until 30
Up.6 - Kaigaku - Live until 20
For example, when Kaigaku became an Uppermoon, Kagaya will still die at 30 years old but when he does and the curse goes to his nephew Kiriya, he will die at 20 years old.

And yes, they can be the same upper-rank depending on how similar their strength is to each other.
Also the only one who knows about it is Muzan because he knows where the Ubyashiki family is located because he meets all the Uppermoons except for Daki & Gyutaro when they are all once a human.
Even though he knows where they are, he just doesn’t kill them and let them end themselves by playing the waiting game by letting them make their own mistakes because if they mess up one more time, their lifespan will go all the way down to 10 years old.
Muzan has all the time in the world and no humans or slayers can find the Infinity castle because it’s literally a separate dimension.
So there is gonna be another way on how all the corps including Kagaya, Amane, and his two nieces get into the Infinity castle because it was by accident on Muzan’s part that involves his daughter Annie.
