Ethernet cables: Analysis of basic mapping problems
In this video we are going to review the typical problems that we can find when we analyze the mapping of ethernet cables. We are going to look at the problems of open, shorted, interrupted, shorted, reversed, crossed, split pairs as well as problems in the shielding. We will also see instruments such as the LinkIQ, the MicroScanner Poe or Cable IQ from Fluke Networks.
