Last Epoch Vs Diablo IV: Why Is LE Better Than D4?
Path of Exile managed to sneak up on Diablo in 2013, and overtime become THE ARPG to play. Same scenario might hit Blizzard again, as Last Epoch prepares itself for 1.0 launch.
Even though the game is still in Early Access, the amount of content and depth of the game are pretty impressive. Last Epoch might actually become the gateway to ARPGs - it's easy to pick up, but it also allows decent degree of ARPG min-maxing games.
Diablo IV in its "launched state" struggles with some basic ARPG systems...
Target farming,
Crafting,
Overlay map,
Backtracking (issue),
Deeper skill tree,
Loot filters,
Stash tabs
...which Last Epoch has implemented even in early access.
