What first drew you to video games?
This one started out as an attempt to delineate my tastes before life events mid-draft steered it into a more introspective place. I break down my criteria for a cozy experience, how games (dis)respect your time, and why I've found myself drifting away from the hobby in the past few years. This is not a "games are bad now" take, but rather an "I'm old and think I need something else" assessment.
