I've completed my first watercolour painting in over 20 years!
It's just a little sketch, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. Now this is nowhere near the quality of what's going to be after I have a week or so to get in here, play around, try different techniques and kind of sharpen those skills. But this first little sketch has really got me excited. Am I going to be able to create one of my snow scenes on watercolour that's going to have the same impact as my oils?
And I think, HECK YEAH!
So I'm going to be in here pretty much every day over the course of the next month. I only have 5 weeks to get this nailed. Wwhat I really would like to do is have several finished paintings that I'm proud of and happy with, and then choose one of them to go to King Charles.
