Sohan سوهان is a candy traditionally taken home as a souvenir by pilgrims visiting Iran's Fatima Masumeh Shrine in Qom.

Haj Hossein Sohani and Sons have been making Sohan for almost 100 years. he founder's grandson still uses the original recipe. Sohan is cooked up, filled with pistachios, and cut while it cools. When it's dry, it's crunchy and has a buttery flavor.
