Harvesting Some Tilapia
It has been almost a year since I received the fingerlings. Let's see how they did.
Eleven fish weighed in a 16.2 lbs. I harvested 4.8 lbs of filets for a yield of 28%. That is a little below the commercial average of 30%. But not bad for a beginner.
