This was one of the most important days of my life — I completed my first ever solo flight as a student pilot in the United States!
The emotions were unforgettable, but unfortunately... the audio failed during the recording 😞. The cockpit comms didn’t record properly, and most of the original in-flight sound was lost.
BUT — I worked hard to:
🎧 Clean what audio I could
🎙 Reconstruct some moments with voice-over narration
📻 Find actual ATC radio transmissions to bring you inside the experience
🚨 To top it off — there was an unexpected mid-air situation during a training flight just days before the solo. I share the full story in this video.
📍 What’s inside:
— Final prep flight with another instructor
— In-flight incident + its outcome
— FAA written exam
— Full solo flight experience
— Reflections after landing
