Sneaking up on large Big Horn Sheep with EV. Tesla Model S.
@RMTFamily Driving an EV has so many benefits including how quiet they are. When you go slow there is just a little sound from the tires. This makes it easy to pull up besides wildlife on the road without spooking them. Just sneak up on them and stop. No engine that needs turned off, as soon as you stop an EV is silent. No engine to restart and spook the critters. Just accelerate and pull away slowly. Electric Vehicles are not just better for people but also for animals.
In this case we driving our 2013 Tesla Model S 85, that has already over 200k miles on it, towards Earthquake Lake in Montana. Big Horn Sheep come down to the road and like the salt that is left behind from being spread as ice melt.
This was a great experience getting so close to these large Big Horn Rams while sitting comfortably in our warm and dry electric car.
