SINDEN J7W1 Interceptor Fighter
I built a Shinden J7W1 local fighter (interceptor fighter).
I used a Hasegawa 1/48 kit.
It's been a while since I built an airplane. I started painting from the cockpit interior, and I'll explain in detail everything from gluing the two halves together to the exterior painting and attaching the landing gear.
For the painting, I applied silver paint beforehand, and then used chipping and solvent-based paint removal to make the paint chipping look natural.
Since it's supposed to be a prototype completed near the end of the war, I didn't do too much weathering.
After finishing it, I was once again surprised by how cool this uniquely shaped fighter looks.
