Zebra tilapia.
Tilapia - a representative of the African waters from the family unit and cichlidae Perciformes, distributed in Mozambique. It lives in fresh water but can spend some time in the salt. It is cultivated as aquarists, and fish farmers for commodity consumption. At the aquarium Tilapia there are more than 70 species.
Provenance tilapia goes back in the distant past, tilapia is known as a sacred animal in the culture of ancient Egypt, as well as "St. Peter's fish". By the nature of the fish is energetic, active and cheerful, quite unpretentious in cultivation. The most popular types of decorative tilapia are Mozambican, zebra, tiger and Nile.
