Guy Buttery from new album using ToneWoodAmp
Guy Buttery plays new track "Bakithi" in a treehouse tucked away in a secret location somewhere in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, performing this solo with a #ToneWoodAmp from his upcoming album!
ToneWoodAmp set up: "I used the Plate effect (which is my favourite) and I set the decay to around 8 or 9. The sound came in with a lapel mic through the TWA. What is so cool about the setup is that we used a simple portable recorder and we had a completely recorded tune with FX setup out in the bush miles from any power outlet. It was super cool to do."
Guy's new album is a collab with sitar player and singer Kanada Narahari and it's called Nāḍī (which is Sanskrit for The Channel) available on vinyl, CD and download on Bandcamp.
