[FWR] NWC: NES Edition Mario Master Speedrun in
After losing about 8 runs to 8-4 on WR pace, and getting an unrecorded PB (5:03.48) in the process, I finally achieved the world record in the Mario Master challenge in NWC: NES Edition! This is also the first run to get a 5:01 in NES timing (5:01.969 to be specific)! This game has been incredibly frustrating for me due to the 4 frames of input delay, however I feel that I can now say that I am finally satisfied with this time and can stop the grind. There are still some time saves that can be implemented to the run, but I'll go ahead and let some other runners add those to their runs, as I am done with this category as I've said before. I am going to be bringing my focus back to SM64 as I am very motivated to return to that game and want to get a 16:XX 16 Star time very soon. Thank you everyone in the SMB1 community for keeping me motivated throughout this grind, I couldn't have done it without y'all!
