|| About ||

Looking to create your own versatile Twitch Panels with unending creative possibilities? This video will show you how to create a look similar to the "Parallax Effect" by layering 2D objects to create a beautiful 3D scene with interlocking elements.

In this video you will learn how to successfully mask and blend elements in Raster (Pixel Based) and Vector (Dot Based) imaging formats demonstrated in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. While the names of the tools used are what I know them as in the Adobe Suite, the techniques are achievable in any computer graphic program that supports ".png" exporting.

Here are the Timestamps for each program that I demonstrate the design in:

▷Photoshop: 02:34
▷Illustrator: 14:14
▷After Effects: 21:38

|| Design Explanation ||

This design often makes people question how you made your Twitch Panels bigger than the standard boundaries of the Panel itself, and truth be told, you never have, you trick the viewer into thinking there are elements outside of the border when all you did was outline the border and make it smaller to fit within the traditional panel boundaries. This allows for creatives to play with depth of field and interlocking elements within each other in a pseudo 3D environment, no 3D software needed! This is a common technique in website and print design, you see it in most magazine covers and big print advertising everywhere, now that you understand what is actually happening in the design you will start to see it everywhere and feel like you uncovered a deep designer secret. It is a amazingly simple technique that can be used practically anywhere!
