Today I showcase our process of removing ~180,000 bedrock blocks in the nether, in preparation of our fortress farm perimeter. As for where I got that number: For the nether roof, each xz coordinate uniformly places an amount of bedrock between 1 and 5, giving an average of 3 bedrock per xz coordinate. For the nether floor, each xz coordinate has an amount chosen between 2 and 5 giving an average of 3.5, meaning the average bedrock per xz coordinate is 6.5. With each chunk holding 256 xz spaces and having cleared a full simulation distance 6 area which holds 109 chunks, we end up with 109x256x6.5=181376 bedrock blocks.
