Step-by-Step Guide: Replacing the Blower Motor & Resistor in a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche
The blower motor had been giving me signs that it might be nearing the end of it's life for quite a while. It finally quit. The previous day, it made a few noises, and at times, it ran weakly only on the highest setting, so I knew it wasn't a fuse or power issue. I've always heard it's a good idea to replace the resistor whenever you replace the blower motor so that's what I did.
