Ingress | Shared Memories Local Linking Op
In the dark before dawn on a sleepy Sunday - July 28, 2024 - a dozen or so agents from the resistance crept out of bed to converge on a local lake.
Hundreds of keys had already been stealthily (we hoped) obtained for this portal.
Calculations had been made, swaps of gear and keys arranged, roles had been assigned.
And then, the portal was captured, and it was time for the links to begin.
Would we achieve our goal, and score enough points to succeed at the Shared Memories Link Event?
Over the course of the next few hours, 1144 links were laid down, into or out of the portal. Eight agents achieved the badges they desired that day - five silver and three bronze.
