Blender vs Unreal Engine: I compared EEVEE, Cycles, Lumen, and Path Tracing to see which software delivers the best results both in terms of speed and quality.
My Take on these renderers-
EEVEE: Slows down in large scenes, loss in energy of light compared to cycles on rough surface interior lighting requires extra setup like probes for proper results.
Cycles: Minimal noise for a path tracer; GPU usage ensured almost real time veiwport rendering.
Lumen: The fastest option, but has issues with bokeh, blurry reflections, and noise in material roughness between 0.2 and 0.4. Requires significant fine-tuning to achieve a polished look.
Unreal Path Tracing: Slow viewport previews; persistent denoising noise even with different settings, possibly requiring external tools like Neat Video for noise removal
