Modern genomic sequencing is completely changing fields such as agriculture, medicine and ecology. However, it generally requires huge supercomputers and long processing times. Dr Hasindu Gamaarachchihas developed new scalable, efficient and accessible computer processing, allowing more people to unlock the potential of genomic sequencing and democratising the whole field.
