Did you know Instagram started out as a social drinking app called Burbn?This video aims to tell the story of how two Stanford graduates, Mike Krieger and Kevin Systrom, built one of the biggest social media platforms in the world. The app gave rise to influencers and has created successful (and destroyed some less progressive) businesses. It even got acquired by Facebook for an, at the time, seemingly crazy high amount of $1 Billion dollars . This turned out to be one heck of an investment for Facebook and regulators are finally catching up to the amount of power and influence this gave Facebook.
