European scooter riders will have a few new Yamaha TMAX scooters to consider in 2020. The Japanese brand unveiled its new TMAX 560 and TMAX Tech MAX during the EICMA show in Milan, hailing them as stronger, better-handling, and more rider-friendly versions of its popular maxi scooter.
The key to the 560's improved power is a new 562cc twin-cylinder engine, which provides 3.5-percent more horsepower and 6-percent more torque than last year's model. Yamaha increased bore by 2mm to get the extra capacity and added new aluminum-forged pistons and con rods.
